December 2015, by Water Alliance.
During the opening of the Amsterdam International Water Week (AIWW) and the Aquatech, the 'Aquatech Innovation-award' was presented to the Dutch Salttech BV, member of the Water Alliance. The company has succeeded in treating extreme salty waste water in a single step within the oil and gas industry.
Jury chairman, Cees Buisman form Wetsus went on to say how technically challenging it actually is to treat waste water in a cost effective way. The volume of this type of waste water is increasing rapidly which will help to market this valuable technique.
